LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - Hundreds participated in the Walk for the Waiting Saturday (April 30, 2016) in Little Rock.
The Walk for the Waiting raises awareness for more than 4,700 kids in foster care in Arkansas.
Walkers at War Memorial Stadium helped support the waiting children and the families who care for them.
"This is an organization that really and truly does need everybody's support. This helps children find their way. This helps them establish a home. This establishes some form of normalcy in a world that's very confusing," said walker Kimberly Huff.
All funds raised go to support The Call, Immerse Arkansas, and Project Zero as these organizations work to find homes for waiting children.
