CPR Chess

The mission of Chess Problem-solving and Reading (CPR Chess) is to use the game of chess to create an environment of love, learning, mentoring and hope for children from age 5 to age 13.

CPR Chess Club exists to allow children to learn and enjoy chess while experiencing healthy competition and team spirit. We use chess to improve reading skills, build self esteem, provide cultural enrichment, develop critical thinking skills, enhance problem solving capabilities, learn how to make good moves and good decisions in life, and competitive maturity.

Any Elementary School student, beginner through advanced players, are eligible to participate. Knowledge of the game is not necessary.
Club meeting time: Tuesdays from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Mosaic Church, 6221 Colonel Glenn Road, Ste. A, Little Rock, AR 72204.
